Honister Infinity Bridge Named Cumbria’s Experience of the Year 2023

We are delighted to announce Honister has been awarded the prestigious Cumbria Tourism Experience of the Year 2023 for our Infinity Bridge. This esteemed recognition was presented to us on Wednesday, 5th July, at a splendid gala ceremony held at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal. The award was handed to us by the esteemed journalist and television presenter, Kate Walby.

The Cumbria Tourism Experience of the Year Award holds great significance within the tourism industry as it celebrates exceptional experiences that highlight the very best of what Cumbria has to offer. We are immensely proud of our team’s unwavering commitment to providing unforgettable and immersive adventure activities to visitors of the Lake District, which undoubtedly contributed to our well-deserved triumph.

Our award-winning experience, the Infinity Bridge, proudly holds the title of Europe’s longest high-wire bridge, suspended over 1,000 feet above the valley floor. Stretching an impressive 190 meters in length, the bridge is aptly named for its seemingly infinite span. This breathtaking structure traverses a gorge, providing visitors with a unique and adrenaline-filled way to admire the stunning vistas of the Lake District.
