Mine Tour: Visitors can explore the fascinating world of a working slate mine and learn about the history and techniques used to extract slate.
Via Ferrata Xtreme: The Xtreme version of the Via Ferrata is a more challenging and demanding climb, including overhang descents, a Burma bridge, vertical ladder climbs and sky ladders – this Lake District experience is not for the faint of heart.
Via Ferrata Classic: Visitors can climb the side of Fleetwith Pike using fixed iron cables and ladders, providing a thrilling and safe experience for all skill levels.
Climb the Mine: Experience the ultimate underground adventure, where you’ll journey through winding passages and old mining caverns. Participants can enjoy thrilling obstacles along the way, like rope bridges, zip lines, ladders, and Tarzan swings.
The Infinity Bridge: A suspension bridge over a 1,000ft drop that provides spectacular views of the Lake District.
Canyoning: Canyoning at Honister is an exciting outdoor adventure activity that involves exploring a mountainous gorge by traversing through it using a combination of techniques such as climbing, abseiling, jumping, and swimming.

The Honister Affiliate Program is designed for accommodation providers, including hotels, B&Bs, Airbnbs, and hostels, who want to offer their guests unique and exciting experiences during their stay.
By joining the programme, accommodation providers enhance the value of their services by giving guests—who are already in the Lake District—the opportunity to enjoy a 10% discount on Honister activities. As a thank-you for their support, participating accommodation providers and their staff get complimentary experiences at Honister.
How does it work?
The Affiliate Program is simple and easy to use. Once signed up, you will have a dedicated page on the Honister website. Either the guest or the accommodation provider can enter the guest’s email address on this dedicated page. The guest will then receive a unique code via email, which can be used when booking an activity on the Honister website to redeem the 10% discount.
