We’re open 7 days a week, and offer a huge range of indoor and outdoor activities, suitable for all abilities, we really have something for everyone.

Choose from a combination of Honister’s best activities, from the 1,000ft Infinity Bridge, Climb the Mine, and brand-new freefall experience… the Jump; if you fancy something wild and wet, you can abseil 60 meters down one of the Lake District’s most famous waterfalls, or if you prefer something a little less strenuous, try one of our famous mine tours.

We’ve taken the best of our activities, and combined it with our local knowledge to build the most exhilarating all-inclusive away day packages. Experience Day

Our experience day offers flexibility, you can choose to combine a half day training session with our Executive Team Coach, with half a day of activities, or choose a full day of action-packed fun with the Honister all-day pass experience, giving you a day out you will never forget! Both options include tea, coffee, and a delicious lunch.

Overnight Package

Our overnight package includes an ultimate full day Honister experience, plus a comfy bedroom to rest your weary head, and a three-course evening meal. The following morning, start your day with a full English breakfast, followed by a half day training session with our Executive Team Coach, plus tea, coffee, and lunch.

Via Ferrata Xtreme

Via Ferrata Xtreme is an adrenaline filled 3-hour activity, no climbing experience is needed although a good level of fitness is required as there is mountain edge exposure, vertical ladder climbs, overhang descent, a Burma bridge and a sky ladder to finish.

Once completed, get ready for one of the finest views the Lake District has to offer – Buttermere, Crummock and Loweswater.

Climb the Mine

Climb the Mine is the only one of its type in England. Follow us deep inside the mountain, along the route of the original underground mine workings, complete with vertical climbs, rope-bridge crossings, steel ladder ascents, run-away zip line and a Tarzan swing!

This all weather experience explores a secret world of hidden passages and magnificent cathedral sized caverns.

Adrenaline Pass

Cross the famous INFINITY BRIDGE, 1,000ft above the valley floor, the longest high wire bridge in Europe! Set in the picturesque Lake District, our canyoning trips offer nature’s very own waterpark. If you are looking to go Canyoning (aka Gorge Walking/Gorge Scrambling) our location for this activity is perfect.

Make your way along the course of a waterfall, abseiling down sheer faces and scrambling over rocks along the way, surrounded by the magnificent mountainous landscape. Mine Tours

Go Deep Underground on our slate mine tour! Learn about our 450-million-year-old volcanic green slate and how it has been mined through the ages.

Delve deep within our underground tunnels and caverns in the magnificent Fleetwith Pike and experience first-hand what life was like for the miners of old, listen to the story of 8-year-old John Taylor and learn how Slate mining at Honister progressed through his lifetime. Seathwaite Farm – Camping

If you fancy a night under the stars, or bunking up in a barn, Seathwaite Farm offers simple accommodation in a truly stunning rural location, and all within a short walk/drive from Honister.

Seathwaite Farm camping barn sleeps 10 and offers a communal lounge with wood burn, kitchen area, and toilet/shower block.

Inside Out Camping

For a back to nature experience without compromising on comfort, Inside Out Camping have 6 yurts on the river bank at the bottom of Honister Pass.

Each yurt is 16ft in diameter and can accommodate 5 people, with enough room to walk around comfortably inside, a wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable futon style beds.

Seatoller House is a beautiful guest house, located at the bottom of Honister Pass. Offering a friendly welcome, and good home cooked food.

With 10 rooms, sleeping 10-28 people, you can book exclusive use of the house, which includes the library, sitting room, restaurant and tea bar, which serves hot & cold beverages, snacks, local beer, wines and spirits.
